Les Chalets d'Edelweiss
This accommodation is a modern yet traditional ski residence. It is made up of seven 4-storey chalets, divided into 83 self-catering ski apartments.

April 2022It’s our favourite resort and we’ve skied most of France, this accommodation is the easiest access to lifts taking us where we want to go quickly. It’s a dream and we’ve already booked for next year.
To loan - cots and highchairs for children up to 2 years old can be hired. Board games, sledges, irons and ironing boards. All subject to availability.
All the apartments at Les Chalets d'Edelweiss in La Plagne (Plagne 1800) are fully equipped, fitted and furnished to a good standard. They all have a kitchen area with a microwave, a 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster; TV and a balcony or terrace (in most apartments). Living area with a double sofa bed. Bathroom and wc.

1 bedroom apartment sleeping 2-4 (c.30m2): bedroom sleeping 2 (may be under the eaves, therefore with limited headroom)
1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 5-6 (c.38m2) (maybe duplex): bedroom with double bed, alcove with bunks in the entrance or upstairs, extra shower room. May be duplex
2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4-6 (c.40m2) (may be duplex): bedroom with double bed (maybe under the eaves, therefore with limited headroom), bedroom with 2 single beds, extra shower room, separate wc. May be duplex
2 bedroom alcove duplex apartment sleeping 7-8 (c.51m2) (may be duplex): upstairs: double bedroom, bedroom with 2 single beds, alcove with bunk beds, extra shower room. Bedroom & alcove may be under the eaves. May be duplex

Please note: for any apartments/chalets at Les Chalets d'Edelweiss in La Plagne that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old. Alcoves are usually not enclosed, have bunk beds and no window.

Price includes (provisional):
Fully equipped apartment, bed linen (change payable), towels (change payable), ski lockers, TV and access to the heated indoor swimming pool (open Sun - Fri 10:00 - 10:30).
Pre-bookable extras (provisional):
- Optional beds made on arrival: c £31-£62,
- Optional end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen & dishes): c £39-£87 depending on size of apartment,
- Optional beds made on arrival & end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area & dishes): c £62-£141 depending on size of apartment,
- Optional covered parking (height limit 1.90m): £43/car/week (subject to availability),
- Only two pets per apartment are allowed and will be charged £43 pet/week (payable at time of booking) You’ll need have up to date documentation and vaccinations for your pets.
Payable locally (provisional):
- Refundable breakage deposit: €400/apartment - Please note no deposit, no keys!
- Local Tourist Tax: c.€2.48/pp 18yrs+/day (guiding fare),
- Charge if apartment is not left clean and tidy: €45-€99 (depending on apartment size),
- Change of bed linen and towels: €8/kit/each,

- Cleaning kit: €6/kit (guiding fare),
- Hire of cot: €15/stay (subject to availability, state at time of booking, for child up to 2 yrs old),

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.

Located close to the 1800 chairlift (80m), Cocoon chalets is a group of 4 very well-equipped cosy chalets with quality furnishings in a quiet area of Plagne 1800. The chalets benefit from a pleasant view on the Mont Blanc and the resort while being close to the centre of the resort (approx 200m away), the slopes and ESF ski school (approx 100m away). There is public parking approx 80m away.
