Village Club (hotel)
The Village Club offers exceptional ski-in, ski-out convenience (snow and level depending), as well as great ski-inclusive value-for-money.
The hotel gives an attractive impression of space and light, with its extensive public areas and floor to ceiling windows, and bright, contemporary décor. A lift serves all 5 floors.
Full board is included from dinner on arrival day to breakfast on day of departure. Meals are buffet style with water and wine included. A separate buffet corner is available for children. Packed lunches may be ordered the previous evening (except for departure day). A themed dinner and Savoyard dinner are included once per week. At a supplement, raclette, cheese fondue, birthday cake, maybe arranged (reserve the previous evening). Weather permitting, lunch may be served on the terrace.
The range of facilities includes an:
- Indoor heated pool with spa area, hot tub, sauna and steam room;
- Leisure area (open to adults and accompanied from 16 years) with relaxation room and tisanerie, sauna, steam room and (at a supplement) massages (towels not provided),
- Aquagym, fitness, stretching and relaxation sessions,
- Regular entertainment evenings include games, themed and dance evenings, karaoke and shows,
- Bar (drinks are not included in our prices) with fireplace,
- Free WiFi throughout,

- Tourist information,
- Heated ski lockers,
- Safe at reception,
- Loan of hairdryers, board games and cards.
Also included:
Lift pass and ski hire is included for adults and children.
Snowshoe outings are also arranged for adults and children from 12 years.
Kids clubs
The Village Club operates kids’ clubs (health record, including vaccinations required), opens from 8.30 to 18.00, and from 19.00 to 21.00:
For children 3 months to under 6 years:
Open all season, except Saturdays or Sundays depending on the week. Club des Câlins is for babies 3 months to under 3 years; Club des Malins is for 3 years to under 6.
From 17:00, children from 2 years to under 6 are supervised in the same place.
For children 6 years to under 10 years:
Club des Copains (closed Saturdays or Sundays depending on the week) open all day during French school holidays; at other times, closed in the mornings. Children from 6 years may have lunch and dinner (except Saturday) with their animateur.
For children 10 years to under 18 years:
Club des Jeunes has separate clubs for children 10 years to under 14, and from 14 to under 18; closed Saturdays; open all day during French school holidays; at other times, closed in the mornings. Ski outings included for 10 to under 18 year olds (minimum 2 star level required’ subject to numbers). Activities 6 days a week from 17.00 to 21.00 from 04/01 until 18/01/2020.
Hotel rooms:
Bedroom types are allocated according to party composition: all 90 bedrooms have WC and shower room, TV and free WiFi and include:
Standard bedrooms are 16m2 with either a queen size bed or 2 singles; some are interconnecting (subject to availability and at a supplement)
Quadruple rooms sleep 3-4 and are 20-25 m2; they have a double bed and bunk beds; some are interconnecting (subject to availability and at a supplement)
5 bedded room is 32m2 and has a double bed, bunk beds and a single bed (duplex)
6 bedded rooms are 30-34m2 and have a double bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. Extra bathroom
7 bedded room is 50m2 and has a double bed, bunk beds and 3 single beds. Extra bathroom (duplex)
8 bedded room is 52m2 and has 2 double beds and 2 sets of bunk beds. 2 extra bathrooms
A cot may be added to most bedroom types except the 5 bedded room. A mid-week clean is included.
On request are baby bath, cot and pushchair; utility room with washing machine and dryers (payable locally).
Pets are not accepted.
Prices include (provisional):
Accommodation on a full board basis, including water and wine with meals; Christmas and New Year gala dinners and brunches; facilities and kids’ clubs as described, subject to opening dates; 6 days full area lift pass (Alpe d’Huez); standard skis, board, boots, snowshoes, bum sliders and children’s helmets (up to 17 years); underground parking.
To pay locally (provisional):
Refundable cautionary deposit €230 per room (by credit card); top of the range skis; adult helmets; edging/waxing service for own skis; massages and treatments; drinks (except water and wine with meals); local tax €0.90 per person per day from 18 years.
High-speed WiFi is available at a supplement.

Price is unless specified, per person, per week, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with Free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates on an all inclusive basis. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen).
